Angela De Felice Dekorte
Angela
De Felice Dekorte's early love of art and fashion were evident when she
subscribed to Vogue and took up oil
painting at age ten. In high school she set a trend when she combined
the two interests and painted classmates tees, jeans, and shoes for money.
She completed her final year of Fine Arts studies in Florence, Italy,
and graduated from the prestigious Ontario College of Art in Toronto.
Shortly after graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles where she’s
been working in the fashion industry for the past eight years.
Dekorte's eclectic style is based on an appreciation for the old and the
new. She draws inspiration from found objects bringing out their unique
personalities with painted depictions. Her hand-painted vintage bags are
a nostalgic exploration influenced by the car culture and mass consumption
of her adopted home, where the car you drive and the purse you carry are
the ultimate status symbols.
A fashionista with true artistic talent, Dekorte pushes the envelope with
exclusive creations that allow individuals to accentuate their personal
style without having to compromise art for fashion.
